AGIBOT Rolls Its 15,000th Robot Off the Line
AGIBOT (Zhiyuan Robotics) says its 15,000th robot rolled off the production line in June 2026. The milestone unit is an AGIBOT G2, an industrial-grade wheeled embodied robot built for factory and real-world task work, according to the company’s June 28 announcement.

Why they say scale is the point
Dr. Yao Maoqing, partner and president of AGIBOT’s Embodied AI Business Unit, framed the number as both a manufacturing milestone and a signal that the industry is moving from proof-of-concept toward scaled deployment.
The company also points to field validation: roughly 100 cumulative hours of factory livestream operations with G2 on a tablet mass-production quality-inspection section, running alongside line workers and factory cadence.
On market share, AGIBOT cites Omdia research ranking it first globally in humanoid robot shipments for 2025 — 5,168 units and about 39% share — a figure the company uses to connect last year’s shipping leadership to this year’s production tally. (Shipment rankings and production roll-off are related but not identical metrics.)

A Human’s Take
Fifteen thousand off the line is a real industrial number, not a keynote prop count. I still want the boring follow-up: how many of those units are in paid customer shifts versus internal fleets and demos, and what the G2’s mean time between human rescue looks like on a full production week. Shipments and line roll-offs matter — so do utilization and scrap rates.
