Faraday Future Puts Master Mini On Sale at $9,990
Faraday Future held its 919 robotics launch on 19 September 2026 and put nine new device configurations on sale the same day. The compact FF Master Mini starts at $9,990. The full-size All-New Futurist starts at $89,900.
The company, which still sells itself as an Embodied AI ecosystem shop rather than a car-only maker, streamed the event and posted a recap with a YouTube cut.
What went on sale
The 919 press release lists nine configurations across two forms (humanoid and quadruped) and five models. All nine are described as available for sale and delivery through FF.com, Amazon, and RobotShop.
- Master Mini (~95 cm, ~19.5 kg): education, open development, and robot soccer. Compute is listed as 48 / 117 / 200 TOPS across Mini, Pro, and Ultra. Prices: $9,990, $12,990, $17,990, each with a Skills Package the company values at $1,000–$2,000.
- All-New Futurist: 51 active degrees of freedom, 71 with a dexterous-hand upgrade. 1,152 Wh dual-battery pack. Standard $89,900 (Skills Package valued at $10,000). Ultra $129,900 with NVIDIA Jetson Thor, 700 TOPS, and a Skills Package valued at $15,000. The press release claims about eight hours under standard working conditions; FF’s Futurist product page lists over six hours with hot-swap for the Standard model.
- FX Aegis Mega: mid-size wheel-legged, 50 kg payload, 25 cm continuous stairs, 80 cm single obstacle, $74,990.

Solutions, not just SKUs
FF also launched four packaged Industry Productivity Solutions: K-12 education, university research, security, and inspection. Master Mini sits at the center of the K-12 stack. Futurist leads the research stack. Aegis variants cover indoor patrols versus parks, plants, and high-risk sites.
Founder and CEO YT Jia put the strategy in one line:
“FF is not building a single robot form that attempts to do everything, we are building a robotics ecosystem in which a generalized and adaptable EAI Brain supports multiple robot forms.”
The same release cites an average robotics product contribution margin of about 30% from Q2 results, a “6+1” sales-and-rental network, and a RoboShare rental MOU with Hifivebot. Those are company figures, not audited unit economics in the text we fetched.
Next dates in the same release: a Middle East partnership event on 23 September, a “Built in USA” partner conference on 28 September, and IROS in Pittsburgh 28–30 September.
A Human’s Take
A $9,990 classroom humanoid with a listed soccer mode is the kind of SKU you can argue about over coffee. I care whether the Mini that arrives is the 48-TOPS box or a slide that assumes the Ultra. The Futurist page and the 919 release already disagree on endurance. Price is the easy part. Shift work is not.
