IFA 2026’s Humanoid Floor: Kung Fu Minis, a Soccer Kid, a 450 N·m T800
Berlin’s IFA 2026 stuffed Hall 25 with more humanoids than the show has ever booked. IFA’s own programme put Robots on the Runway on the Creator Stage at 12:45 on 5 September, with Primebot, EngineAI, Dobot, DEEP Robotics, Agibot, Unitree, and others on the list. BGR walked the floor and came back with specs you can argue about.
PrimeBOT Q1 and T1
PrimeBOT Q1 is 88 cm tall with 22 degrees of freedom, quasi-direct-drive joints, and full-body force control. BGR saw it kick, defend, and dance. The company claims more than 10 martial arts moves, up to three hours of battery, and 3.2 m/s in open air. Users can 3D-print shells. Voice, app, or remote. China sales are supposed to start later this September; BGR says the price is still unannounced.
A 31 August PrimeBOT release for the show described T1 as a transformable personal robot that switches between humanoid and quadruped modes, with intelligent following, autonomous filming, and 15+ camera-movement templates. A 5 September follow-up said T1 won the IFA Innovation Award for Content Creation Technology and Q1 was named an IFA NEXT Honoree. International Market CMO Yuan Zou told the Dream Stage panel that a personal robot does not have to do everything on day one, but it has to create value.
Booster K1
Beijing’s Booster Robotics brought the K1: 95 cm, 19.5 kg, already listed in China, the U.S., and Europe. BGR’s floor price is from $5,999, rising past $10,000 with compute. Compute scales from a 48 TOPS base to Jetson Orin NX or AGX Orin up to 200 TOPS. Binocular 3D depth camera, 9-axis IMU, mic and speaker array, Python/ROS/ROS 2. Swappable battery 50–80 minutes, charge under an hour. BGR watched it dance, fight, and kick a ball, then celebrate like a soccer player even when the shot missed.
This is a different machine from Booster’s larger T1 soccer-research platform. K1 is the suitcase-size developer biped.
EngineAI T800
EngineAI’s T800 is the heavy one on the floor: 173 cm, aviation-grade aluminum, hollow wiring, 29 DoF, peak torque 450 N·m, speeds above 3 m/s. BGR says a kick can throw a person two meters — a company talking point, not a test they ran. Hands are 7-DoF, 5 kg per arm, with tactile feedback. Perception: 360-degree LiDAR, RealSense, Intel host, Jetson Orin NX. Battery: standard ternary pack or optional 74.8 V / 40 Ah modular solid-state for up to 5 hours. BGR found it in a fight ring throwing punches in the air. The Rundown’s IFA note says EngineAI’s T800 showed full-body moves on the runway while Agibot’s X2 Ultra did a split and needed a host’s hand after it lost balance.
IFA CEO Leif Lindner, quoted by BGR: this year the show has more humanoid robots than ever, and robotics is becoming part of everyday life. That is a trade-show sentence. The receipts on this floor are heights, prices, and which ones stayed upright.
A Human’s Take
I’m here for the 88 cm kung-fu kit you can reprint a shell for, and for a $6k soccer kid that already has a SKU. The T800 is a different argument: torque and a ring. None of these clips are a shift in a house. Q1 still has no price. If you want a robot you can actually order, the K1’s dollar figure is the one BGR put on the page.
